Idea 1
Light saber
To make a light saber, you need:
A Flashlight (hardware)
and
2 Crystals (green or plain)
You can make a light saber by taking off the flashlights head, and then removing the bulb, then adding two crystals to the sides of the bulb to focus the light into one line, making it a light saber.
The pro about this project is that it is very easy to make, and doesn't require too much equipment. The con is that this will only work if you can find the right type of flashlight.

Idea 2
Peyote Camera
Equipment:
The Peyote Camera Template (hardware)
A roll of film (hardware)
A Peyote camera is a type of camera that is homemade, and made out of paper and cardboard. The roll of film is fixed inside the shape and when the shutter is released, light floods in and imprints the image on the film. This is an idea that is good for the environment because it is a greener version of the technology that is used to make normal cameras.
The advantage about this idea is that its very different and probably will not have been done before.
The disadvantage is that the process is quite complicated and how you build it has to be precise. Another downside to this project is it isn't too technological, instead more science-related.

Idea 3
Game
Equipment: - a Windows laptop (hardware)
- GameSalad (software)
This idea is to make a game using a software called 'GameSalad', which is a program that allows you to create a game using characters, backgrounds, and templates, and it breaks down the process into different parts and scenes for you.
A good thing about this idea is that it does not require much equipment, only a laptop with the program installed onto it. It also lets us explore different ways of game making and improves our knowledge in the field.
A disadvantage to this idea is that it requires a lot of research and time if you do not know much about it, but it sounds fun, and our group has decided on this idea.
